Schools Can Make a Difference
Currently, less than 15% of children eat the recommended number of servings of fruits, and less than 20% eat the recommended servings of vegetables. Meanwhile, overweight and obesity are rising among America's children. Working together, Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) and schools can change the statistics, by putting fruits and vegetables first in classrooms and cafeterias.
