Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) is seeking education session proposals for the 2019 Consumer Connection conference, which will be held April 22-25, 2019 at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, AZ. With close to 250 industry and consumer influencers in attendance, this unique opportunity provides a visible and vocal platform to influence and engage the entire fruit and vegetable supply chain!

Our 2019 program will focus on Health & Wellness Integration, Food & Flavor Inspiration, Consumer Trends & Communication Insights and Food & Agricultural Innovation. If you have expertise in any of these areas that you’d like to share, submit your proposal via Survey Monkey by July 31, 2018. Download our RFP Guide for additional information.  Registration for the event will open on August 8th.

PBH Debuts at IDEA World Conference

Produce for Better Health Foundation recently exhibited at the IDEA World Convention, June 27-30, 2018 in San Diego, CA. With more than 14,000 fitness professionals, club and studio owners/managers and nutrition professionals in attendance, this show proved to be a success!

Wendy Reinhardt Kapsak, PBH President/CEO, presented two sessions during the conference. The first addressed the myths and facts surrounding today’s agricultural production practices and the second was her love letter to fruit and vegetables, delivering strategies to increase consumption and improve health.

PBH also provided a sponsorship opportunity for industry supporters to showcase their products at the PBH booth. Okanagan Specialty Fruits and Sun-Maid sponsored the event, providing dried fruit with no sugar added and no artificial colors or flavors. Participants fell in love with the samples!  Many of the more than 2,000 people we spoke with mentioned how refreshing it was to see whole food at the event.

PBH made many new contacts who are interested in partnering with PBH to help increase the consumption of fruits and veggies and plan to use our resources as part of their programs. Many participated in a survey letting us know how PBH can help them get their clients to eat more fruit and vegetables. We were thrilled to be a part of IDEA World and will return again in June of 2019.

Please contact development@pbhfoundation.org to find out how you can sponsor future influencer outreach events!
