Jonah Berger to Keynote 2014 Consumer Connection Conference


Early bird registration is still available -- until January 1st -- for the 2014 Annual Conference at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas in Scottsdale, Arizona, from March 17-19.


Jonah Berger, best-selling author of Contagious: Why Things Catch On, and an expert on how products and ideas become popular through word of mouth will be the keynote speaker for this year’s conference. An associate professor at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Berger will talk about how to craft contagious ideas, using 6 key factors or STEPPS: social currency, triggers, emotion, public, practical value, and stories. You’ll learn a set of specific, actionable techniques you can use whether selling a product, crafting a new corporate culture, or just trying to get the word out.

PBH Webinars Popular with Dietitians and Health Professionals


On November 20th PBH hosted its fifth and final webinar of 2013, in partnership with Egg Nutrition Center, entitled: Building a Better Breakfast with High-Quality Protein and Produce. President and CEO Elizabeth Pivonka Ph.D., R.D. moderated the discussion and Neva Hudiburgh Cochran, MS, RDN, LD Nutrition Communications Consultant presented the latest research on how high-quality protein paired with fruits and vegetables can influence nutrient adequacy, satiety and health.


The PBH webinars have been hugely successful and continue to provide relevant information and actionable strategies to increase consumption of fruit and vegetables for a healthier America. To date, more than 2,300 dietitians and other health professionals -- who work with consumers to improve diets by increasing fruit and vegetable consumption -- signed up to participate in one of five (5) PBH sponsored webinars presented this year.
