PBH-Commissioned Research Offers Behavioral Snapshot

The research was sponsored by Bayer CropScience; the summary report was made possible by funding from California Department of Food and Agriculture.

 

NPD data is extracted from NPD's National Eating Trends reports from 2,000 households of 5,000 individuals, a geographically and demographically representative sample. Reports were analyzed for the year ending February 2004. Each household reported their consumption for a two-week period; reports were collected throughout the year to account for seasonal variation.

 

Conducted in February 2005, the ACNielsen research consisted of a 14-question, closed-end survey sent by email to a representative sample of U.S. households. Responses were received from 2,597 households, a 64% response rate.
