Donor Recognition & New Donor Welcome: Your Support Matters!
September is Fruits & Veggies—More Matters month and Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) is celebrating with a ‘Fuel Up with Every Form' toolkit and an integrated social media program. The toolkit incorporates ad slicks, memes, social media posts, POS or price signs, and a calendar listing the fruit and vegetable PBH will be highlighting daily. These elements are the perfect tools for retailers, processors, supermarket dietitians, and other health professionals to use in their consumer outreach efforts throughout Fruits & Veggies—More Matters month.
A different form of fruit and vegetables (fresh, frozen, canned, dried and 100% juice) will be featured each week on the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram, platforms.
A post and collage image of the fruit and vegetable, along with a recipe will be featured each day to encourage consumers to eat more fruit and vegetables. Each post and meme will also provide helpful selection and storage tips. You can also celebrate Fruits & Veggies—More Matters month by:

PBH recently developed a program to encourage the younger generation of nutrition professionals to join with us as a PBH Professional Ambassador to help us increase fruit and vegetable consumption for America's health. The program falls in-line with PBH's industry Ambassador program, as well as the other recognition programs such as Supermarket Dietitian of the Year, and Fruits & Veggies—More Matters Champions and Role Models.
To be considered a PBH Professional Ambassador, an individual must complete 10 items supporting PBH's mission and the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters national health campaign. Examples include, but are not limited to the following:
With only four months remaining in 2014, it's time to collect and submit to PBH everything you and your company have been doing to support PBH's mission and promote Fruits & Veggies—More Matters to be recognized as a Champion, Role Model, Ambassador, or Supermarket RD of the Year! While these programs run on a calendar year, PBH is currently tracking 70 companies to potentially be recognized as 2014 Fruits & Veggies—More Matters Champions or Role Models!
Additionally, PBH currently works closely with 31 Ambassadors to spread the word about PBH's activities and share with potential donors why they should support PBH. Tracey Altman, Wholly Guacamole
